Tool #4

Just finished looking at all of googles sites. Will go back and keep exploring as time permits. I can see many areas that I will be using.

I can really see a use for Google Doc for me. As a SIS this site would make it so much easier to post data and other information that goes to all of the staff and have feedback in one place.

Google Reader would provide a place for frequently used sites with more ease. Many times our teachers of young children find and use early childhood sites for ideas, small books, music, and seasonal ideas. This will make it much easier for them when they only have to go to one place.

tool #3

I used Big Huge Labs for the magazine cover which was my picture of the "sharing tree" when Mr. and Mrs. Santa came to visit the children.

I used Comic Strip Generator for the cartoon about PreK. Both of these sites were fun and easy to use if you save your images to "my pictures" and use the photo icon in the tool bar. Simple.

Tool #2
I have used blogging for several years as a way of communicating with family and enjoy it. I think it will be a new, interesting way to communicate with our teachers and perhaps the school community.
While I listened to the comments and looked at the hot links the one very important thing that came to mind was "sharing". I think that is what blogging is all about. This class is giving everyone this path to sharing ideas, photos, events, etc. Great Class.
5 comments to: Baby Goat, Rainbow Ray, Hammer's PK, Spring Daffodils, and Bellas Orquideas. Hope to hear back from them.

Tool #1 blogging

Finally finished the first tool. Think I can best use this blog with the teachers.
